Leanne practices in all areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation (defendants) and Wills.
Raised in Salford, Ontario, Leanne spent the first 18 years of her life doing “chores” on a dairy operation. Leanne attended the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1993 with an Honours B.E.S. (Co-operative). She attended law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude, and spent three winters skating to school on the canal.
Leanne articled at Madorin, Snyder LLP and after completing her Bar Admissions course in London, she returned to work for the firm in January 1998. She very much enjoys serving on the panel for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer as well as practicing in Collaborative Family Law.
Leanne supports many local charitable and community organizations. She is the Past President and past board member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Waterloo Region. She is a Past President and a long service board member of the Family and Children’s Services of Waterloo Region. Leanne also finds time to volunteer for her children’s hockey, lacrosse, and baseball teams
Leanne, her husband Kevin and their two teenagers reside in Kitchener.
