Madorin Snyder LLP is a full service law firm based in Kitchener, Ontario and serving clients throughout Ontario.   Over the last 60 years we have maintained our reputation as specialists in a number of areas of the law including family and employment law and the defense of insurance claims, professionals, municipalities and manufacturers. 


We require an  individual with experience in Civil Litigation.



  • Preparing legal documents (drafting pleadings, document briefs and affidavits of documents), from written, oral and dictated instructions and precedents.
  • File organization and maintenance of files in Primafact.
  • Maintaining an effective diary system in ACL.
  • Review of transcripts and compliance with undertakings.
  • Assisting with preparation for discoveries and trial, and attending as necessary.
  • Draft and prepare bills of cost and cost outlines.
  • Preparation of writs of seizure and sale and notices of garnishment.
  • Preparing charts and summaries of documentary evidence for discovery;
  • Coordinating service and court filing of motion records, pleadings, facta and etc.


  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience;
  • Proficient with the Rules of Civil Procedure;
  • Strong computer knowledge in the following programs: MS Office, ACL, Primafact, Divorcemate and PC Law;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, lawyers and staff;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment;
  • Must be organized, thorough and have high attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team;
  • Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program is required;
  • ILCO membership would be an asset.
