Mackenzie L. Mohr

Mackenzie Mohr is an associate lawyer at Bennett Grant LLP (formerly Madorin, Snyder LLP). Following the completion of his law degree, Mackenzie completed his articles with the firm before starting as an associate lawyer after his Call to the Bar in June 2023.

Having been born and raised on his family’s farm in the rural area outside of Kitchener-Waterloo, Mackenzie has remained closely tied with this community and is proud to call it home. Mackenzie completed his Bachelors of Arts at Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in both History and Political Science, with a minor in Medieval Studies. Mackenzie completed his law degree at Queen’s University in Kingston.

Mackenzie practices Civil Litigation as part of the litigation group at Bennett Grant LLP (formerly Madorin, Snyder LLP). While he handles matters involving a range of subjects, including civil, corporate, and property-based litigation, Mackenzie is particularly interested in the practice of Agricultural Law, where he can use his experience and knowledge gained from a lifetime of farm-living, tending to and raising animals, and agricultural practices to provide legal assistance to the members of the community in which he was born and raised. Mackenzie understands that Agricultural Law is a highly intersectional and wide-ranging area of the law that can involve elements of property, corporate, and drainage and planning law, as well as family and estate law, and he knows that a well-rounded knowledge of all of these areas of law are required to effectively and efficiently represent and advise his clients facing legal issues of this nature.

Outside of work, Mackenzie can be found enjoying a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors, whether it be traveling to new countries, studying and engaging with the history and culture of these countries through visiting historical sites and museums, spending time at his cottage, or just reading a good book.
