Tim J. McGowan

Tim is an experienced solicitor whose practice emphasises commercial and residential real estate, corporate law, wills, and estate administration..

Tim attended University of Waterloo where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Honours Political Science. He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 1989.

Tim was called to the Bar in 1991. His areas of practice include estate litigation, corporate/commercial law including commercial litigation, all aspects of real estate law, and estates and wills. Tim has taught Business Law at Conestoga College, has lectured extensively on the legal aspects of buying and selling real estate. In addition, Tim has lectured to various groups on topics including estate planning, construction law and landlord and tenant law.

Tim, his wife, and their two children reside in Waterloo. Tim is the Past President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Meals on Wheels Program and an Executive Member of the Knights Columbus Council 9276 in Kitchener.
