Leanne E. Way

Leanne practices civil litigation, including representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and she practices in all areas of family law..

Raised in Salford, Ontario, Leanne spent the first 18 years of her life doing "chores" on a dairy operation. Leanne attended the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1993 with an Honours B.E.S. Co-operative in Geography/Geology. She attended law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude, and spent three winters skating to school on the canal. Leanne worked for two summers with Nesbitt Coulter in Ingersoll.

Leanne articled at Madorin, Snyder LLP and after completing her Bar Admission course in London, returned to work for the firm in January 1998. She enjoys serving on the panel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer.

Leanne supports many local charitable and community organizations. She is the Past President and past board member of member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Waterloo Region. She is a Past President and a long service board member of the Family and Children's Services of Waterloo Region.

Leanne, her husband and their two young children reside in Kitchener.
