Leanne E. Way

Leanne practices civil litigation, including representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and she practices in all areas of Family law and Wills.

Raised in Salford, Ontario, Leanne spent the first 18 years of her life doing "chores" on a dairy operation. Leanne attended the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1993 with an Honours B.E.S. Co-operative in Geography/Geology. She attended law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude, and spent three winters skating to school on the canal.

Leanne articled at Bennett Grant LLP (formerly Madorin, Snyder LLP) and after completing her Bar Admission course in London, returned to work for the firm in January 1998. She enjoys serving on the panel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer and is trained in collaborative Family Law.

Leanne supports many local charitable and community organizations. She is the Past President and past board member of member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Waterloo Region. She is a Past President and a long service board member of the Family and Children's Services of Waterloo Region. Leanne also finds time to volunteer for her children's hockey, lacrosse and baseball teams.

Leanne, her husband and their two children reside in Kitchener.
